WHAT EXACTLY IS THE "FALL CARNIVAL?"

The Fall Carnival raises money for campus security improvements, teacher and student technology needs, and the fine arts program, in addition to funding items on the Teacher Wish List. It also provides a fun and safe social time for Lakeway and Lake Travis families and friends.

WHEN IS THE FALL CARNIVAL?

Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 2 - 6pm

All Carnival booths and games will be open from 2 - 5 pm

The Concession Stand, Bake Sale and Mustang General Store/Moola booth will be open from 2 - 6 pm

WHAT CAN I DO AT THE FALL CARNIVAL?

So glad you asked!   (*** denotes games included in the wristband price)

***Games and Prizes: Baseball Radar Pitch, Nerf Reactor Shoot, Pop Ring Toss, Hair Painting, Bean Bag Toss, Face Painting, Floating Pumpkins, Football Throw, Putt-Putt Golf, Nail Painting, Soccer Shoot, Tattoos, Bowling, Gold Mining and Rock Monster to name a few. Enjoy all of these activities and receive an instant prize.

***Inflatable Fun and Challenging Activities: Try the "all-time favorites" like the Moon Walk, Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course, Superslide, Wally The Whale and the Last Man Standing.

HOW MUCH DOES ALL OF THIS COST?

Play-all-day wristbands will be sold in advance and at the door.

Ages 3 & up: $5 ~ Presale only (thanks to our no-hassle fundraiser!)    $10 ~ At the door
Adults and kids under 3: Free

HOW CAN I PURCHASE THE WRISTBANDS?

Wristbands presale forms will go home is each child's October 2nd and October 9th Tuesday Folder with a return envelope. Just send a check with your form back to the school.  Wristbands will go home in Tuesday Folders October 16th. You may also purchase tickets at the ticket booth on the day of the Carnival beginning at 2 pm. However, to avoid long lines, we recommend taking advantage of the advance purchase opportunity and the $5 discount.

WHAT OTHER THINGS WILL BE OFFERED AT ADDITIONAL COSTS?

*Casserole Sales

*Bake Sale & Cake Walk: Grab a bag of homemade cookies or brownies or pick up a cake at the Cake Walk.

*Concessions: hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy and drinks.

*Also: Confetti Eggs, Sand Art Bottles and Horse Rides.

*Dunking Booth: Calling all 5th Graders (Teachers and Brave Parents) ~ Want to be dunked by your friends? This is your last year at Lakeway Elementary. Let's make this a lasting memory. Cost is $3.00 for 10 minutes. Sign up in 5th Grade Hall

WHERE ELSE CAN YOU HAVE MORE FUN AND AT THE SAME TIME RAISE $$$$ FOR OUR SCHOOL? Nowhere!

Inclement weather will not affect our fun because (almost) everything can moved to the Gym or Cafeteria!
