Help is needed plan and run next year’s Fall Carnival! The first meeting of chairpersons is Wednesday, May 25, at 9am in the cafeteria. If you are interested in helping, either as a chairperson or as a “worker bee,” please come to the meeting.

Summer Tutors: Kathy Wynn, M.Ed. Reading Specialist/MRT/RR Certified, offers Reading Tutoring for children in kindergarten and first grade. She has over 20 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood, and is a fully certified Reading Recovery teacher. ($35/hour, and she will come to your home!) The City of Lakeway’s fourth annual Red, Hot & Blue summer camp is June 6-10 this year. It's an outdoor extravaganza with hilarious games, creative arts, exciting nature adventures, and lots more silly crazy fun for your child (ages 5 – 10). The registration deadline is May 23. Girl Scouts in Troop 517 are working on their silver project by helping to raise money for the new LTE library. The troop is working with the LTE PTA to sell book plates for $15 that will be pasted inside the front cover of new books.
