Lakeway PTO News - October 21, 2005

Thank you for coming to the Fall Carnival! Please take a few minutes to complete our Fall Carnival survey, which is posted at www.lakewaypto.org/survey.htm, even if you weren’t able to make it. Last year’s survey resulted in some great suggestions for this year’s Carnival and we appreciate the feedback.

The first grade classes are hosting Fat Friday on October 28. Each grade level takes a turn hosting Fat Friday to provide home-cooked meals for the teachers and staff once a month. If you have a child in first grade, look for information from your room mom about providing a potluck item for the teacher’s lounge. Parent volunteers are also needed to clear and clean empty dishes, consolidate food items, and help at the end of the day to clean up the lounge. If possible, please send food in disposable containers, label all food items, and bring all items after 10:30 am, unless they are nonperishable, as refrigeration is limited. Thank you for supporting Fat Friday. The teachers and staff really appreciate these days!

Buy Your Mustang Mixer Tickets Now! This November 12 event is rapidly approaching and you don't want to miss this fun night out with Lakeway Elementary parents and staff.
